Tofu Basilico with tomato
Tofu Basilico with tomato
Preparation
Prepare a marinade out of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, freshly ground pepper and salt. Wash the basil, spin-dry and set aside 4 large leaves for decoration. Remove remaining basil leaves from the stem, cut into strips and add to the marinade.
Wash the tomatoes, pat them dry, cut into approximately 24 slices (remove stalk first) and let them drain in a colander.
Remove Tofu Basilico from packaging and cut into 12 even slices. Place the tofu slices into the marinade for about 15 minutes.
Place the tofu and tomatoes alternately on 4 plates, making a wide-ranging circle. Decorate with balsamic cream (e.g. in a zigzag pattern) and sprinkle the edges of the plates with freshly ground pepper. Decorate with the large basil leaves.
